First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 20 times

Summary

This study is testing a new way to measure oral health using photographs and imaging software instead of just traditional exams. About 275 adults will use a toothpaste or mouthwash for up to 6 months while researchers track plaque, gum health, and saliva. The goal is to find better tools for assessing mouth health and see if certain products can improve gum health.
