First seen Feb 28, 2026 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 10 times
Summary
This study tested a new way of giving radiation therapy (called image-guided hypofractionated radiotherapy with a stereotactic boost) along with standard chemotherapy for people with stage II-III non-small cell lung cancer that cannot be removed by surgery. The goal was to find the highest safe dose of radiation that can kill more cancer cells while protecting healthy tissue. A total of 29 participants took part, and researchers tracked tumor control and survival over time.
