New cell therapy trial targets Hard-to-Treat stomach cancers

Summary

This early-stage study tests a new treatment called IM96 CAR-T for people with advanced stomach or esophageal cancer that hasn't responded to standard therapies. The treatment uses a patient's own immune cells, modified to better attack cancer cells. The main goal is to check safety and side effects, while also seeing if it can shrink tumors or slow the disease. Only 18 participants will be enrolled.
