Summary

This small study tested the safety and practicality of placing a new metal stent through the wrist artery to treat blockages in the pelvic (iliac) arteries. It involved 25 adults with significant narrowing in these arteries who were experiencing symptoms like leg pain. The main goals were to see if the procedure could be done successfully from the wrist and to monitor for any complications like bleeding or artery damage.
