First seen Nov 20, 2025 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 23 times

Summary

This study tests whether a low dose of radiation to the intestine can help the immune system fight cancer again in people whose tumors stopped responding to immunotherapy. About 48 adults with advanced lung, esophageal, or other solid cancers will receive one radiation session followed by an immunotherapy drug. The goal is to see if this combination can shrink tumors or slow disease progression, while also studying changes in gut bacteria and immune cells.
