First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 22 times
Summary
This study tests whether a drug called N-803 (IL-15) can boost the immune system to control HIV without daily antiretroviral therapy. About 20 adults with well-controlled HIV will receive the drug or a placebo, then temporarily stop their regular HIV meds to see if the virus stays suppressed. The goal is to find a way to reduce or eliminate the need for lifelong daily medication.
