First seen Oct 31, 2025 · Last updated May 09, 2026 · Updated 23 times

Summary

This study checked how well a new rapid test (iHealth COVID-19/Flu A&B) can detect COVID-19 and flu A&B in people with respiratory symptoms. 588 people with two or more symptoms (like fever, cough, or sore throat) gave nose swabs for the test and a standard lab test. The goal was to see how sensitive and specific the rapid test is compared to the FDA-approved method.
