Donor cells tested to fight mysterious autoimmune disease

NCT ID NCT07061938

Summary

This early-stage study is testing a new cell therapy called ACE1831 for people with active IgG4-Related Disease (IgG4-RD), a condition where the immune system attacks the body's own tissues. The therapy uses immune cells (gamma delta T cells) from healthy donors. Researchers will give it to about 30 patients to check if it's safe and if it can put the disease into remission and prevent future flares.
