First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Apr 19, 2026 · Updated 24 times

Summary

This study is testing a combination treatment for people whose acute myeloid leukemia (AML) or myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS) has returned after a stem cell transplant. The treatment involves giving a drug called interferon-gamma along with an infusion of immune cells from the original transplant donor. The goal is to see if this two-part approach can help control the cancer and extend survival for patients who have very few other treatment options.
