Could a simple injection repair your Worn-Out spinal discs?

NCT ID NCT03955315

Summary

This early-stage study tested whether injecting specially prepared disc cells directly into a damaged spinal disc could help people with chronic low back pain. It compared two different doses of the cell therapy against a placebo injection in 38 participants. The main goal was to see if the treatment was safe and if it could reduce pain and disability over one year.
