Scientists hunt for hidden clues to prevent ICU muscle collapse in kids
NCT ID NCT07150650
Summary
This study aims to understand why some children on breathing machines in intensive care develop severe muscle weakness. Researchers will observe 500 children to look for early warning signs in their blood that might predict this weakness before symptoms appear. The goal is to gather knowledge that could help doctors intervene earlier in the future, potentially improving recovery.
