Is ICU stay necessary after complex head surgery? new study aims to find out
NCT ID NCT07295548
Summary
This study aims to determine if patients recovering from major head and neck reconstruction surgery have similar outcomes when cared for in a regular hospital ward versus an Intensive Care Unit (ICU). Researchers will compare complication rates and hospital stay length between the two groups. The goal is to identify the safest and most efficient recovery setting for these patients.
