NCT ID NCT07387731

Summary

This study aimed to find the best way to help patients in intensive care breathe on their own after being on a ventilator. Researchers tested two common methods on 20 patients to see which one caused less muscle strain and fatigue. They used special sensors to measure muscle activity and see which method better predicted a successful transition off the machine.
