Ventilator weaning may shift eye pressure, study finds
NCT ID NCT07188922
Summary
This study aimed to understand how switching from a breathing machine to breathing on their own affects pressure inside the eye for intensive care patients. Researchers observed 40 adult patients in the ICU, measuring their eye pressure before and after this breathing transition. The goal was to gather knowledge to help manage patients, especially those with existing eye conditions, more safely.
