French ICU death rates drop despite treating sicker patients
NCT ID NCT05353023
Summary
This study looked back at data from over 1.5 million intensive care unit (ICU) admissions across France between 2013 and 2019. Its goal was to understand how ICU care changed, including death rates, length of stay, and patient sickness levels. Researchers analyzed hospital records to see if outcomes improved over time and what factors were linked to survival.
