Could ICU burnout show up in your blood?
NCT ID NCT07437443
Summary
This study aims to understand if the high stress and burnout experienced by intensive care unit (ICU) staff is linked to physical changes in the body, specifically higher levels of inflammation. Researchers will survey 140 ICU workers about their stress levels and analyze their blood for inflammation markers during routine health checks. The goal is to gather knowledge about how workplace stress affects physical health, not to provide treatment.
