NCT ID NCT05551325

First seen Nov 05, 2025 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 35 times

Summary

This study tests a combination of sleep-promoting treatments (a 'sleep chronobundle') in 160 critically ill ICU patients. The goal is to realign their internal body clocks, which are often disrupted in the ICU, and see if this improves sleep quality and metabolism. Participants will receive the bundle or standard care, and researchers will measure changes in heart rate and urine markers of circadian rhythm.
