Can a calmer recovery unit help ICU patients sleep better?
NCT ID NCT07167485
Summary
This study aimed to understand if moving intensive care patients to a specialized recovery unit improves their sleep. Researchers asked 42 adult patients who had been in the ICU for over a week to complete sleep quality questionnaires. They compared sleep scores between the standard ICU and the quieter, more controlled recovery unit environment.
