First seen Jan 31, 2026 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 11 times
Summary
This study looks at how the immune system and inflammation affect recovery in 540 adults admitted to the intensive care unit (ICU). Researchers will collect extra blood samples to measure specific markers and build models that predict survival and infections over one year. The goal is to better understand why some patients do well while others have complications.
