Hidden errors in ICU monitors may guide wrong treatments

NCT ID NCT07330505

Summary

This study aims to measure how often the pressure monitors used on critically ill ICU patients are slightly misaligned. Researchers will secretly record these small errors over 8 hours in 60 patients to see if they are linked to changes in medication or fluid treatments. The goal is to understand if these common measurement mistakes affect the care patients receive.
