Summary
This study is testing whether adding an immune-boosting drug called interferon gamma to standard antibiotics helps ICU patients on ventilators fight off pneumonia. It focuses on patients whose immune systems are weakened after severe illness or injury. The main goal is to see if this combination treatment helps patients get off the ventilator faster.
