Could shorter feeding windows help ICU patients recover faster?
NCT ID NCT07270939
Summary
This study aims to find the best daily schedule for tube feeding in critically ill ICU patients. Researchers will compare continuous 24-hour feeding against shorter 20-hour and 18-hour feeding cycles that include fasting periods. They want to see if these shorter feeding windows can reduce infections, improve blood sugar control, and help patients leave the ICU sooner.
