Scientists test if breakfast changes how experimental drug works

NCT ID NCT07254286

Summary

This early-stage study tested how eating food affects how the body absorbs an experimental drug called icovamenib. Researchers gave 60 healthy volunteers different capsule formulations of the drug, either with or without food, and measured drug levels in their blood. The main goal was to understand if and when people should take this medication relative to meals for optimal absorption and safety.
