First seen Jan 17, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 20 times
Summary
This study looked at 52 adults with advanced liver cancer to see if adding microwave ablation (MWA) to immunotherapy works better than immunotherapy alone. MWA uses heat to destroy tumors and may help the immune system fight cancer more effectively. The researchers measured how long patients lived without the cancer getting worse and overall survival.
