Summary
This study tests a new surgical technique called ICG-OSA for people with esophageal cancer. The goal is to see if it lowers the chance of a dangerous leak where the esophagus is reconnected to the stomach. About 73 adults will get this procedure, which uses a special dye to check blood flow and wraps the connection with a piece of belly tissue. The main outcome is the leak rate within 30 days after surgery.
