Can a simple dye boost recovery after prostate cancer surgery?

NCT ID NCT06446648

First seen Mar 29, 2026 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 9 times

Summary

This study tests whether using a special dye (ICG) during robotic prostate surgery helps preserve sexual function and bladder control in men with prostate cancer. About 400 men will take part, and the main goal is to see how many need little to no pads for urine leakage three months after surgery. The dye helps surgeons see nerves more clearly, potentially leading to better recovery.
