Summary

This study tested a personalized, low-dose dye to help surgeons see bile ducts more clearly during emergency gallbladder removal in people with severe gallbladder inflammation. Twenty-one adults received a custom dose based on their bile duct thickness measured by MRI. The goal was to improve surgical safety and accuracy by making the bile ducts stand out in special camera images.
