Ice hockey grip strength under the microscope: does it hold up all season?
NCT ID NCT07570784
First seen May 14, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026
Summary
This study looks at how hand grip strength changes in elite ice hockey players over a full season. Researchers will measure grip strength in 150 players from Swedish teams at four points: pre-season, early, mid, and late season. The goal is to see if a single measurement can reliably represent a player's strength throughout the season. No treatments or interventions are involved—just simple, non-invasive tests.
