Summary
This study aimed to understand how living with an implantable cardioverter-defibrillator (ICD) affects patients' quality of life. Researchers surveyed 731 adults with ICDs about their physical and emotional health, device acceptance, and concerns about daily activities. The goal was to gather detailed patient experiences to help improve future care and support for people with these life-saving devices.
