Summary

This completed observational study followed 3,849 people with asymptomatic intracranial atherosclerosis (narrowing of brain arteries) to understand how plaque changes over time and how it relates to stroke risk. Participants underwent routine imaging and cognitive tests. The goal is to improve early detection and prevention of stroke in this population.
