First seen Jan 27, 2026 · Last updated May 17, 2026 · Updated 14 times

Summary

This study aims to find out which treatment—pelvic floor physical therapy or cognitive-behavioral therapy—works best for different types of people with interstitial cystitis/bladder pain syndrome (IC/BPS). Researchers will group 220 adults based on where they feel pain and then compare how well each therapy improves their symptoms. The goal is to move away from a one-size-fits-all approach and offer more personalized care for this painful condition.
