First seen Feb 09, 2026 · Last updated May 17, 2026 · Updated 12 times
Summary
This study looks at whether adding pain neuroscience education to a walking program can reduce belly pain, symptom severity, and stress hormone levels in people with Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS). About 33 adults with IBS will be split into three groups: walking only, walking plus education, or a control group. The goal is to find a simple, non-drug way to help manage IBS symptoms.
