Natural trio tested to tame troubled guts
NCT ID NCT07052890
Summary
This study tested whether a food supplement containing curcumin, green tea, and vitamin D could help control symptoms in people with diarrhea-predominant irritable bowel syndrome (IBS-D). For 4 weeks, 78 adult participants with IBS-D took either the supplement or a placebo pill, without knowing which one they received. The main goal was to see if the supplement blend reduced the overall severity of IBS symptoms more than the placebo.
