NCT ID NCT03207555

First seen Sep 30, 2025 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 20 times

Summary

This study tested whether giving the drug ibrutinib early to people with chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) who have no symptoms but are at high risk for the disease getting worse could help them achieve remission. Twenty-three participants took ibrutinib for up to 24 months. The goal was to see if early treatment leads to complete or partial remission, compared to the standard approach of waiting until symptoms appear.
