Scientists hunt for gut health clues in blood
NCT ID NCT06502873
Summary
This study aims to understand how gut bacteria differ in people with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) compared to those without it. Researchers will collect stool, blood, and tissue samples from 60 IBD patients and 60 healthy volunteers. The goal is to identify markers in the blood that could one day lead to a simple test for gut health problems.
