New program aims to give veterans with liver disease a voice in their care

Summary
This study tests a program for Veterans with advanced liver disease. A nurse counselor will talk with them about their illness, what matters most to them, and options like transplant or comfort care. The goal is to help more Veterans get considered for transplant and have important talks about their care. 450 Veterans will take part.
