First seen Mar 05, 2026 · Last updated Jun 18, 2026 · Updated 16 times

Summary

This study tests a new way to treat teeth that still have infection after a root canal. It compares standard retreatment with a regenerative method using a substance made from the patient's own blood (i-PRF) to help the tooth heal. 140 adults with infected front teeth will be followed for two years to see which approach works better. The goal is to improve healing and save the tooth.
