Summary
This study tests a video-based program called 'I kua na'u' to help Native Hawaiian elders aged 55 and older plan their medical care in advance. The program uses culturally tailored videos and allows elders to record their own wishes. Researchers will measure changes in knowledge and completion of advance care plans in 220 participants living in homesteads, assisted living, or visiting clinics.
