Study tests gentler breathing tube alternative for Women's surgery

NCT ID NCT05782517

Summary

This study compared two different devices used to help patients breathe safely during gynecologic keyhole surgery. It tested a newer, softer laryngeal mask (I-gel) against the traditional breathing tube to see which was easier to use and caused fewer side effects like sore throat, hoarseness, or nausea. The goal was to find a more comfortable option for patients undergoing these common fertility-related procedures.
