Can a simple injection make gynecological exams less painful?

NCT ID NCT07178379

Summary

This study aims to find out if a local anesthetic injection can reduce pain during outpatient hysteroscopy, a common gynecological procedure to examine the uterus. Researchers will compare pain levels between two groups: one receiving real anesthetic and another receiving a placebo saline solution. The results will help determine if this pain relief method should become standard practice for these procedures.
