New surgical tool aims for faster, safer uterine polyp removal

NCT ID NCT02472197

Summary

This study compared two surgical tools used to remove uterine polyps (non-cancerous growths) during a procedure called hysteroscopy. Researchers tested a newer tool called a morcellator against the standard resectoscope in 90 patients. They wanted to see which tool was faster and had fewer complications during surgery.
