Anesthesia showdown: finding the gentler path for Women's uterine exams

NCT ID NCT07358624

Summary

This study compared two anesthesia methods for diagnostic hysteroscopy, a common uterine exam, to see which provides better pain relief and patient satisfaction. Researchers randomly assigned 84 women to receive either spinal anesthesia or general anesthesia during their procedure. They measured pain levels and satisfaction after the exam to determine which approach offers more comfort during recovery.
