New surgical patch could make hypospadias repair safer for kids
NCT ID NCT07404722
Summary
This study compares two surgical techniques for correcting severe penile curvature in children with hypospadias, a birth defect. Researchers want to see if a new method using tissue from the penis itself works as well as the standard method using tissue from the scrotum, but with fewer side effects and a shorter surgery time. The study will include 90 children aged 6 months to 14 years.
