First seen Jan 07, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 22 times

Summary

This study compares two exercise approaches—hypopressive breathing exercises and standard pelvic floor muscle training—to see which better reduces stress urinary incontinence (leaking urine when coughing, sneezing, or exercising) in women who recently gave birth. About 38 women aged 20-40 who had vaginal deliveries and are within 6 months postpartum will participate. The goal is to find which method improves symptoms and quality of life more effectively.
