First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 22 times
Summary
This study looked at a new way to place a breathing tube in children aged 1 month to 6 years during surgery. Instead of putting the tube past the vocal cords, doctors placed it just above them in the throat. The goal was to see if this method is easy, safe, and works well. The study included 85 children and measured successful breathing support and any side effects.
