Scientists track Body's hidden water and salt shifts during common hospital treatment

NCT ID NCT05692726

Summary

This study aims to better understand how the body's water and salt levels change when doctors treat low blood sodium (hyponatremia). Researchers will closely monitor 50 adult patients with this condition, measuring their blood, urine, and body composition before, during, and after standard treatment. The goal is to gather detailed information to help doctors predict and manage treatment more safely in the future.
