Summary
This National Institutes of Health study aims to better understand what causes dangerously low blood sugar levels during fasting. Researchers will evaluate 1,500 adults who experience low blood sugar when they haven't eaten for a while. Participants will undergo supervised fasting tests and blood work to identify different causes, with a focus on insulin-producing tumors called insulinomas.
