First seen Dec 08, 2025 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 20 times

Summary

This study looks at how a nerve-stimulation device (hypoglossal nerve stimulation) changes the way the upper airway collapses in people with obstructive sleep apnea. Researchers will use a sleep endoscopy and a new non-invasive method to measure collapse before and after one year of treatment. The study includes 58 adults who are eligible for the device and have failed CPAP or mouthpiece therapy.
