First seen Apr 06, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 9 times

Summary

This study tests a shorter, more intense radiation schedule (hypofractionated radiotherapy) for people with intermediate-risk head and neck cancer who have had surgery. The goal is to see if this approach is safe and effective at preventing cancer from coming back. About 60 adults with certain types of head and neck cancer will participate, and researchers will monitor side effects and disease control for two years.
