Summary

This study aimed to see if using hypnosis was as good as nitrous oxide gas (MEOPA) for controlling pain in children getting stitches in the emergency room. Researchers compared the two methods in 60 children with wounds needing stitches. They measured pain levels, how long the procedure took, and how satisfied parents and doctors were.
